She is a 3rd year PhD student in the Health Psychology program and is mentored by Dr. Abby Braitman. She is currently interested in studying health outcomes surrounding substance use in emerging adults. She is a 3rd year PhD student in the Health Psychology Concentration. She is mentored by Dr. Sarah Ehlke. She is a 2nd year PhD student in the Health Psychology Concentrations. She is mentored by Dr. Matt Henson. Her research interests focus on psychosocial &amp; cognitive factor associations with risky health behaviors in sexual and gender minority relationships.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/hpsa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26243\/2023\/10\/Bio-Pic-APA-Gabelmann-1-581x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-308 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Jeff Gabelmann<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Gabelmann is the current Health Student Representative for HPSA. He is a 4th year PhD student in the Health Psychology program and is mentored by Dr. Michelle Kelley. Henson. His research interests are centered around novel tobacco products. She is currently interested in studying health outcomes of who are sexual and gender minority emerging adults who use alcohol. She is passionate about working on interventions that help to eliminate negative outcomes related to PTSD and moral injury among veterans and military populations. She is focused on developing new ways to reduce ruminative thoughts and coping with emotions related to stress.
