I am pursuing a major in Dental Hygiene because I have always wanted to have a career in the medical field. I ended up choosing Dental Hygiene specifically because I want to be able to provide people with the best oral care that they need. I currently have no experience in dentistry, but I plan on shadowing at dental practices and possibly seeking a part-time job or interning to gain more knowledge of the profession.
