We are so pleased that you have chosen Old Dominion University and the College of Health Sciences to continue your studies. This is an exciting time for you and we are here to help!<\/p>\n

We know you chose to pursue a career in health care for a specific reason. Maybe it was based on personal experience, or because you want to help others. Perhaps you were drawn to a health career because healthcare is a growing field and there will always be jobs for health professionals. No matter your reason for pursuing a degree in a health science, we are here to help you achieve your goals!<\/p>\n

Health sciences programs across the country are competitive. We know that navigating the process to achieve your professional goals can be overwhelming but we are here to help! We hope that any student pursuing a degree in a health science field will find the resources we post here to be useful.<\/p>\n

All Health Sciences programs require a secondary application for admission and accept a limited number of students each year, so admission into our programs is competitive. You\u2019ll work with an advisor in the Health Sciences Advising Center while you complete the general education and prerequisite requirements needed to apply to your intended program.<\/p>\n
