I consider this an important skill because in cybersecurity, it is a field that constantly changes. New threats, technologies, and vulnerabilities require cybersecurity professionals to continue learning. In college, I have developed this skill by working through challenging assignments, completing technical projects, and improving my work when I did not fully understand something the first time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evidence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One artifact that demonstrates my hardworking ability is my CYSE 250 Socket Programming Project. This project required me to work with Python, networking, sockets, clients, servers, and encryption. I had to troubleshoot problems such as connection errors and make sure the different parts of the program worked together. Working through these issues taught me that technical problems cannot always be solved immediately. I had to continue testing my program and make many changes until I understood what was causing my program not to run properly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another artifact that demonstrates this skill is my digital forensics coursework. Digital forensics requires attention to detail and following specific procedures when working with digital evidence. Completing assignments involving evidence collection, computer analysis, and forensic lab planning required me to carefully follow instructions instead of rushing through the work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A third example is my research on cybersecurity threats and proactive cybersecurity policy. These assignments required me to do a lot of research on cybersecurity issues, organize information, and develop written responses.
