Reflective Journals
These journals were completed at every 50 hour milestone throughout my internship at Brooks Crossing Innovation Lab. Reflective journals are meant to highlight progress, learning objectives, observations, and deep reflection.
Technical
Technical skills refers to my ability to perform tasks. This would include proficiency in utilizing tools, software, and technologies relevant to the field of cybersecurity.
Collaboration
As someone who likes working with others and making connections collaboration is a very important skill for cybersecurity professionals. Knowing how to work with others, communicate, and give constructive criticism is a learned art that ODU has provided me plenty of practice on.
Critical Thinking
Critical Thinking is paramount for cybersecurity professionals because it equips them with the ability to assess, analyze, and respond effectively to ever-evolving cyber threats. In my opinion, critical thinking means being able to use both a interdisciplinary and monodisciplinary when needed to analyze different problems.
