I am pursuing my bachelors degree in Nursing with my career goal of becoming a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist). Ever since I was young, I have always strived to help others and put others general health and well being before my own. This personal attribute has lead me to go in the direction of the nursing field, where I can best implicate these traits. While not having much standard nursing experience, I do have my background as a Preventative Medicine Specialist in the United States Army Reserve. The bigger picture of my job is to prevent the fighting force from contracting diseases and educating them on the potential illnesses in both combative theaters and stateside bases. I am confident I have chosen the right major and look forward to the rigorous materials the nursing major will hold, but am sure I will overcome any hardships with ease.
