My personal objectives for attending ODU in specific are that I felt as though ODU was a reasonably priced university that also gave lower income students the opportunity to major in STEM based fields including Engineering. This course helps me in pursuit of my professional degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in Engineering Management. It helps me get closer to the degree that I want and to help understand the needs of the industry as a whole. A competent engineer, especially one based in mechanical engineering would know about every aspect of their degree path, even if it does not directly translate to their jobs. This course may not help me in my job, but it will help me become a knowledgeable engineer.
