This is an informal writing example that I wrote when referring to the article titled “Pencils to Pixels” this article examines how the pencil was technology once. This article helped me expand my mind about technology and how often we take for granted that pencil are technology even though we often think of computers and cell phones as technology.

This article was great and I believe everyone should read this especially now that we are a technology based country. This helped me realize the pencil is technology even though we often disregard it as such. It also expanded my mind on how the citizens who were first introduced to the pencil felt. This will help me especially as an educator when I introduce something to a class and the students may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with at first but it will help me correlate new things to what they are comfortable with now.
