I am currently a student at ODU studying cybersecurity. I have always been interested computers and the internet. In middle school I started showing interest in programming and I later applied to a high school with an IT program. They accepted me and while there I took IT courses in different fields. It was only after taking courses in programming, networking, computer hardware, and cybersecurity that I was able to find that my passion lies in cybersecurity. During high school I was given the opportunity to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, and I passed the exam. I can’t wait to get out there and start securing the world.
