My time at ODU has been one for the books. Some of the best days of my life were at ODU, although I tend to critique the university it has some major cons and has guided me into places I didn’t think I would ever be in. While at ODU I became established within Cybersecurity and became close with multiple professors in the program. Although the professors was a huge plus, what really mattered to me was the impact I was going to be able to make during my time. During my third year I decided to become extremely involved and joined a couple organizations on campus, now I’m President for the cybersecurity student association and developing men of color. While this looks great on a resume, that’s not the reason why I do it. I do it to leave an impact on the people around me, so they know that excuses are only ever going to hold them back. I was also lucky to be involved in the first cohort of the student operations center (SOC) within the cyber program. Thank you for everything ODU.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
