How can you tell if your computer is safe? In some cases it can be very clear that your computer has been infected. If your computer is slower than normal or apps are taking longer to launch your computer could be infected. If random pop up messages or ads keep appearing, your homepage changes without your input, or you can’t access the control panel your computer may be infected, and those are just a few examples. Sometimes everything may be normal and working just fine but still be infected through a trojan horse. Most of the time you won’t know your computer is infected until it’s too late. You can take some precautions to securing your computer like downloading anti-malware software, installing firewalls, or anti-virus scanners; but in reality you can never be completely 100% secure.
