About Me
I am originally from Fort Worth, TX, and I began my journey with the United States Air Force in 2005. As I approach retirement in November 2025, I look forward to concluding my career as a Master Sergeant. My primary role throughout my time in the Air Force has been as a 4th Generation Fighter Aircraft Avionics Technician, specializing in the maintenance and repair of F-15, F-16, and A-10 aircraft.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve at various locations around the world, including Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath in the UK, Osan Air Base in South Korea, Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, and Aviano Air Base in Italy. My service also included four deployments to the Middle East and multiple temporary duty assignments across the globe.
In my role as an Avionics Technician, I’ve held several leadership positions, such as Shift Lead and Expeditor, where I managed teams of up to 20 personnel. As a Production Superintendent, I was responsible for overseeing a team of 60 personnel. In these capacities, I directed the repair and sortie generation efforts, and I executed long-term fleet health management plans to ensure sustained operations.
As I transition to a civilian career, I plan to use my technical knowledge and experience in the defense industry to continue supporting the Armed Forces. My General Engineering Technology degree has increased my understanding of both mechanical and electrical processes that are used in the defense industry. From an interdisciplinary standpoint, it has given me the ability to analyze a problem using multiple disciplines to find integrated solutions.
