I gained a comprehensive understanding of core concepts, terms, ideas, and theories related to interdisciplinary studies. I applied Repko & Szostak’s (2021) 10-step model to guide me through the interdisciplinary research process, ultimately creating an interdisciplinary product. Through this process, I explored and implemented strategies that broadened and enriched critical thinking, learning, and problem-solving skills, both within the course and in real-world contexts. The course further emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of education and work, helping me understand how to integrate knowledge from multiple fields.
