How does cyber technology impact interactions between offenders and victims? In order to discuss this, we first must discuss what cybervictimization is. Cybervictimization is defined as a process of victimizing many offenders via the power of the internet through the use of information and communication technologies. This has paved the way for many for offenders to be impacted by hackers and phishers going on the internet and take away their personal information and ruin their lives. Now let’s talk about how the interaction between the two works. Committing an offence starts when the victim when the target is selected and there is no protection available. Offenders can always plan out an attack so that they can they can get their opportunities increased. Victims always have activities that make them venerable for the offenders to take aim at them. As I stated earlier in the post, offenders can always steal their personal information online. This can usually happen when the two are chatting online. The victim can then try to get the picture of the offenders and use it to make an imposter.

How should we approach the development of cyber-policy and infrastructure given the “short arm” of predictive knowledge? In order to fully discuss about this, we need to talk bout what a cyber threat is. A cyber threat is type of threat that is typically made online that can impact an individual on the internet via devices like a computer and phone whether it is via a text message or email. Some of the more notable cyber threats includes malware, ransomware, and distributed denial of service (DDoS). As of today, cyber policy has had a shortage of knowledge in order for it to be stable. Any types of these attacks can impact a person’s life and property. The best thing we can do is to update the development of cyber-policy and infrastructure so that it can be up to date with the latest technology.
