This lab introduced me on how to install the Linux Virtual Machine that I used throughout the semester through Oracle VirtualBox. After I installed the VM, I practiced in the terminal with commands such as echo, ls, date, and pwd, all of which helped me understand how to list files in a directory, check the system date, and display text. One challenge that came up while doing this lab was ensuring my computer could run virtual machines, which required me to go into my BIOS and enable the command that allows virtual machines to run. Overall, this lab helped me with the general basics of running Linux through a VM.
