I am an accounting major at Old Dominion University. I served on Active Duty in the United States Marine Corps for 9 years. I am pursuing my bachelors degree as a requirement in transitioning to become a commissioned officer in the Marines.

My reasoning for taking Spanish is to better prepare myself for the possibility of working with Spanish speaking partner nations and to increase my exposure to my Latin heritage and language.
