The major I am pursuing at Old Dominion University is Nursing. I chose this major because I want to have a career where I can provide help to people. The goal is to apply my major to a career as NICU nurse once I graduate with my BSN. As of right now I do not have any volunteer experience, but I do have other experience with taking vitals, gathering patient history and information, as well as other EMT course skills. I hope to gain more experience before sophomore year begins.
