The virtual reality experience of ImmerseMe will motivate you to analyze, evaluate, and apply practical everyday concepts in a real world situation. Using the four scaffolded learning modes of the ImmerseMe platform (pronunciation, writing/dictation preview, translation preview, and immersion), you will fully engage with real-life scenarios where you will be prompted to interact and negotiate meaning.

Pronunciation

I loved using the pronunciation part of ImmerseMe. For me this was the most helpful part as it allowed me to both hear and be able to see what to say and how it was properly pronounced.

Writing/Dictation Preview

While the writing was not as helpful as the pronunciation for me, I still found it incredibly helpful. The writing portion helped me see the different grammatical structures between French and English.

Translation Preview

For me the translation felt very similar to the pronunciation portion. The translation felt like I was simply doing the pronunciation a second time.

Immersion

The immersion portion was a lot of fun for me. I liked being able to say what I needed to either in the same way as it wanted or in different ways.
