Job Discussion (Discussion Board #1)

In all 50 jobs there is always a defense aspect meaning they have to be proficient in finding loopholes and defending the network they work for. Which means they need to know some aspects of coding and the interworking’s of the internet and computers. Some other disciplines include prevention against data loss, defense testing and Securing servers or a network. The main discipline or specialty is knowing code and languages. The first job I looked at was the Bug Bounty Hunter, this job seems very interesting as they are hired by companies to find flaws and vulnerabilities in their code and defense. So the bounty hunter must be disciplined in Penetrating the defenses and Securing the software making sure there are no bugs that can be manipulated on a widespread scale. The second job I looked at was the Source Code Auditor, this job is very important when it comes to video games and development. This interested me because I play a lot of computer games such as CSGO, Valorant and others. These games all have source code which if leaked by the development team can be very detrimental to the game. Not to long ago the source code for TFT was leaked and people items were stolen and the game almost had to shut down thankfully it was a outdated version of the code. But these people must be able to find bugs and breaches in the code that can be easily manipulated and used maliciously. They must specialize in data loss prevention and secure software development. My most substantial surprise is how many cybersecurity jobs there are and I doubt the 50 we looked at was all of them. I was surprised how broad this field was with such a limited amount of people in it. The jobs listed are all very important to the security of the networking in government and companies and we need more people in this field to secure our networks. As in Russian it is a main course in high schools their for them to learn and language and be able to use it.
