Some advice I would give to freshman would be, do not procrastinate. I am the worst at procrastinating, I used to do it all of the time in high school. However, I would not recommend doing it at the collegiate level, this will cause you to fall behind. Going to class is also very important, for most classes if you do not go you will not pass. Not going to class would cause you to miss notes and information for upcoming assignments. I would also recommend using a planner, it is helpful to write down what you need to do and when you are planning to do it. As for studying, I never studied in high school, but in college it is necessary. Make sure to take good notes, as a tip, if the professor repeats something it will probably be on a future test or quiz. The final piece of advice I would give is to be responsible. These pieces of advice have helped me tremendously, these are some of the few I have observed and learned throughout this semester.
