Journal 8 My hometown
I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, I grew up in a smaller town called Carbon. The town’s population is a little under 400. I lived in a bigger house with quite a bit of land, and I owned a trampoline. I grew up jumping on my trampoline in my big yard. I only had a couple of neighbors, and I lived on one side of the railroad tracks. On the other side of the railroad tracks there was a post office, fire station, a bar, and a park. I often visited the park to play with my friends. I would often ride my bike over to my brother’s best friend’s house. Carbon was a really small town, and everyone knew each other or about one another. My hometown was a quiet little place other than then when the train was passing through, which was often. Even though the town was small, there was still fun to be had.
