I am pursuing nursing as my major. I chose nursing because it is a stepping stone towards my end-goal career, a CRNA. I have always wanted to pursue a career in this since I was a kid. My dad is a nurse anesthetist, and he has inspired me to follow his path since I was a boy. Another reason I chose nursing is because of my desire to help people and improve their quality of life. I worked in a nursing home throughout high-school, and ever since then I have loved making a difference in peoples lives. This is what I was born to do, this is what I feel is my purpose in the world, and I will forever continue to walk down this path for the rest of my life.
