The “Short Arm” of Predictive Knowledge

I now realize that we cannot foretell our future repercussions or issues due to reading “Short Arm.” We can’t predict what will happen since new things emerge every day, which applies to everything. So, in this situation, when it comes to cybersecurity, we must be prepared for any crisis. More and more risks are emerging in cybersecurity, and thieves are devising new methods to hack into organizations to steal information or shut down networks. These criminals could use tools or viruses against organizations that they may not be ready for, but that comes with not being able to predict the future. Just because we can’t doesn’t mean we can’t anticipate or prepare to take on these problems. For an organization in the cybersecurity field to stay together, they must be ready to take on everyday issues and can’t collapse when they encounter a new problem; they have to figure out solutions to overcome the difficulties faced. Cyber-policies within the organizations should have ways to prepare and anticipate these new problems or threats, whether improving networks or updating security measures. Also, whenever a problem is solved, the organization should develop innovations that they can use right away whenever a situation comes up.
