CISO

If I were the CISO for a public traded company, I would include the best security measures systems. One protection I would like to include in my organization is to have a system that secures all network and wireless points for the organization. This would be great to implement because it will ensure that not anyone can access it freely or hack into it. Also, it’s good to have a separate network in the organization that customers can only connect to and a strictly for the organization. If anyone who works for the organization needs to connect to the network, they will need authorization and a password. The following protection I would want to implement would be to require individual user accounts for each employee. This protection will ensure that each employee has their accounts to perform their work and will require strong passwords to gain access to it, and just in case there is a data loss in the system or a breach in the design, it will be easier to investigate it. The protection that I would also include in the organization is to limit employee access to data and information. This would benefit my organization because it ensures that no employees will have access to critical information, data, or business documents. These employees will only have access to specific information that they retain in their work, and if an employee decides to leave, all data regarding them will be erased. They won’t have access to any programs connected to the company. The last protection I would implement is to get rid of information or remove hard drives on any old computers or technology planned on being thrown away. This ensures that any files will be wiped, and nothing regarding my organization is on there.
