Hello everyone!<\/p>\n
My name is Jaden Hurley but, I usually go by Jay and I am currently in my Sophomore year at Old Dominion University and I’m taking the Cybersecurity Technology-Society course. For anyone new to my page, here’s a brief background about myself. I was born on July 20, 2002, in Washington D.C and but I grew up in Clinton, MD. I attended Waldon Woods Elementary, Gwynn Park Middle School, and graduated from Gwynn Park High. A couple of things you should know about me is that I can be a shy person at times but, once you get to know me I can be a pretty goofy, caring, chill, and fun person to be around. During my past times, I usually enjoy skateboarding, taking photos, doing work school work, and going out with friends. Some professional experiences that I have had in my life have been working at a community center that held a summer camp for kids where I had the position of counselor there and I worked at Amazon’s warehouse for three months and I hated it. On the other hand, they paid great! Lastly, I enrolled in this class because my mother has always said that this course would be a great fit for me and many of my family members are working in the Cybersecurity field right now. So it was kind of like I’m being passed the torch to be in this field of work, but I’m enjoying the course so far. I’ve learned about many of the types in the Cybersecurity field, how it is a crucial job in the U.S and how it protects our information from anyone that wants commit cybercrime.<\/p>\n
