The video hacking scenario video exposes a misrepresentation of cybersecurity in the media.
Hollywood frequently exaggerates the capabilities of hackers, portraying them as super-geniuses
capable of breaking into systems in a matter of seconds. This leads to unrealistic expectations
regarding cybersecurity dangers. The audience is made to feel afraid and misinformed by this
dramatization, which makes them think that hacking is a magical ability rather than a complex
skill that calls for strategy and knowledge. Furthermore, viewers may see these desensitize
audiences to the seriousness of real cybersecurity issues, as they may view them through a
sensationalized lens. People may, therefore, overlook the significance of safeguarding their
personal information. The media must portray hackers and cybersecurity more truthfully to
educate the public and help them grasp the risks and realities of our digital world.
