What is the CIA Triad?
The CIA Triad stands for confidentiality, integrity and availability. This is designed or was made to help with guiding policies for information security within an organization.These three elements are known to be the most important cyber security needs, but experts feel as if the CIA Trad needs an upgrade to still be effective. This was formed around 1998. There is not one single creator for the CIA Trad; rather, it blew up over time and served as a protection to softwares for decades.

These three elements are important because they all represent a foundational principle in cybersecurity. The CIA Triad prevents any hacks within software, services, and any other databases. This acts like the man-in-the-middle of interactions or possible attacks. It’s very important to use this within major businesses or companies.

Confidentiality is designed to prevent confidential or private information. This denies any attempts of any unknown users trying to access private data. Integrity consists of maintaining consistency. How consistent this can prevent types of cyber hacks of any sort. Availability stands for how accessible this will be for use.
