The major I am pursuing is Medical Laboratory Science. I chose this major because I am interested in becoming a pathologist. A pathologist is a type of doctor that examines body tissues and cells to diagnose a disease. I gained a little experience in this field when I volunteered at a hospital. I hope to get more experience during college by shadowing doctors, doing internships, and doing research projects.
