Shift Adaptability at OneMain Financial
At OneMain Financial, I demonstrated flexibility by adjusting to various shifts and work schedules to ensure that critical systems were monitored 24/7 without interruption. This required me to be adaptable to changes in work hours and remain focused on maintaining operational continuity, regardless of the time or day.
Rotation to SAF in the Marine Corps
While serving in the Marine Corps, I was tasked with rotating to the Security Augmentation Force (SAF), where I worked 12-hour shifts, three days on and three days off. This schedule continued even over holidays, requiring flexibility in adapting to an irregular work schedule and ensuring readiness for any mission or security requirements.
Maintaining a good Work/Life balance
Each semester at ODU, I had to adjust to varying class schedules, which required me to be flexible in managing my time and academic plan. Whether balancing morning, afternoon, or evening courses or handling changes in course availability, I demonstrated the ability to adjust to shifting schedules while maintaining a consistent academic performance. Additionally, I successfully managed this while working full-time, ensuring that both my job and academic responsibilities were met. This experience showcased my adaptability in managing unexpected changes and my capacity to organize my workload effectively.
