Penetration testing can be useful for places that are trying to find a hole in a system, this process may take a person to act like they are going to hack into the system and see if there is any way this is possible. Ethical hacking or white hat hackers is the most common people that are used for this process. While this method is not used very common in local businesses, when you are looking at government institutions or larger business banks it becomes more common.
