    • Facilitate a match, keep track of time, teach and communicate with athletes, organize and observe the score table, the game, the players, the coaches, and more all at once.
  • Coach – Coastal Virginia Volleyball Club (October 2020 – now)
    • Follow head coach’s practice plan, teach club-wide technique worded in specific ways, help contribute to the practice plans with ideas for drills, push athletes to be better without being harsh
  • Coach – Tidewater Volleyball Association (April 2018 – August 2020)
    • Follow head coach’s guidelines for practice, come up with suitable drills for the skill level of the group, plan and facilitate games or fun volleyball drills, make the athletes feel welcome and supported

Volunteer Experience

  • Special Olympics (annually since 2016 in November)
    • Referee, keep track of score and players rotations, sell food or merchandise, give out awards, talk to the players, and make the environment fun
  • Student Cooperation Association (August 2019 – March 2020)
    • plan school events, sketch, paint, and outline posters and/or banners, organize and carry out donation drives and/or other community service, promote events with social media, fundraise, recruit new members, and get the student body involved
  • Salem High School Leadership Workshop (December 2019 – February 2020)
    • Form committees, plan the committee specific events, gather any props or materials that may be needed, design and create decorations, banners, t-shirts, (etc.), memorize dances, skit lines, and songs, promote the event, guide the students through their workshop weekend, and make sure everything goes smoothly
  • Brentwood Bingo Hall (2017 – now)
    • Advertise and sell games, count money/give change, verify bingos
