This semester I had the opportunity to evaluate the Southside Community Services Board. The Southside Community Services Board serve a variety of communities such as individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioral health, substance abuse, and children and family. I choose to do my evaluation on their intellectual/developmental community. My research question was Do the services of Southside Community Service Board meet the needs of the mental health community? I found that the agency/program is effective in their services in the community. This experience was interesting and my passion with working with mental health has grown.
