High School Japanese Course

I took up to Japanese IV in Highschool, starting my Japanese language learning career in middle school with Japanese I. I was also part of the Japanese Honors Society and regular Japanese club. I explored a lot of Japanese food and culture in high school alongside language learning. One of the biggest tools I used was a Japanese II workbook. The amount of kanji that I was required to read in order to accurately answer questions always got me to search up kanji and their readings and meaning. I also utilized flashcards that were made into graded assignments by my Sensei. I carried this kind of work with me through my years and into college. I have quite a collection of different themed kanji flashcards that all list the readings, meaning, and examples of the kanji in words.
