This was a part of a discussion board topic where we gave our thoughts on opportunities gained from workplace deviance. Here was my reply below.

Cyber technology has created many opportunities for workplace deviances by giving employees access to free roam online platforms, websites and various tools for communication. With access to computers with no restrictions and the internet, employees are given the opportunity to browse the web to watch videos, talk to people on social media, shop online, or even do things that are considered evil. Their actions can be hidden easier with the help of technology making it hard to catch them in act. Additionally, with the option of remote work direct supervision is reduced greatly, and the increase of workplace deviance increases dramatically.
