Hi!  My name is Jared Gibson.  I am a Cybersecurity Major at Old Dominion University, currently in my Senior year.  I have recently changed my major from Elementary Education after realizing that Cybersecurity was the true path that I was interested in pursuing.

I have worked at ODU as an Information Technology Services employee since March of 2021, where I have learned a plethora of skills that will inevitably propel me into a career of success.  Here is where I thoroughly developed my professional communication skills, knowledge of secure practices within an enterprise, and continually learn about the intricacies of Information Technology.  The Desktop Support Group within the ITS team has modeled me into a well rounded technician, one who is knowledgeable within his field, and is quick to learn the next thing.
