My infatuation with Garrett Morgan and his contributions to black history and black inventions, was properly presented but it was missing something. Now that I am in college, I can see where I could improve my writings. The structure and layout could have been better, the flow and transitions between topic could have been more polished. It was very repetitive and multiple points were restated. I still hadn\u2019t grasped proofreading. I was too lazy to take time to reread what I typed and revise it so it could properly present its purpose. I could have used more rhetorical strategies to deepen my argument and could have added more information. It was very vague and left the audience wanting more. I need to use stronger topic sentences and connecting evidence to validate my information, but despite its defects I\u2019m very proud of the progress I\u2019ve made from then and now.
