This photo is from our sociology trip to the Norfolk Zoo. Although, I know it isn’t campus but it shows the visual representation of the human body in an artistic way. The way that the medical field can be expressed anywhere and as anything. The purpose of the trip was to show the socioeconomic status of the emphasized people being represented at the zoo. People that can afford to have a plaque or statue to represent their impact and importance. Or their overall interest of something at the zoo.

My first official Halloween on campus was so fun! ODU had many fun activities, may be a little too fun cause I didn’t take any pictures lol. They were very safe events, I don’t have to worry about fights or any violence. It was nice to be able to have complete freedom and safety to the point I could really enjoy myself. The frat parties and sorority parties were also very fun and the parties surrounding ODU were also fun and eventful.

Me and my best friend Yasmin V at a learning community event. We watched a movie about a doctor that lack sociological awareness and is a little uptight and rude. He eventually understands the feelings of being the patient and being aware about how he much come off to his patients. It gave a real insight on how to take from your doctors or nurses attitude and try to shy away from the attitude and energy they’re emitting and better yourself on their behalf.

I would like to include this picture of a surge protector that looks like R2-D2. I just thought it was hilarious and needed to share lol.

Get a taste of the Scotland pride. This is a bundle of bananas that were placed on Scotland houses floor, not sure why they were there or who’s missing out on their bananas. But whoever wants them they’re up for grabs lol.

This was the beautiful sunset I took on the stadium garage on a random Tuesday during a mental breakdown. I just want to say that no matter how hard college gets don’t stop moving. Cause when you stop it’s even harder to try again. Being able to see the beauty of the world and what it holds give you more than enough faith that there is a light on the other side of the tunnel.

This was a beautiful photo I took of the Christmas decorations in front of the Webb center. This really improved my mood during finals to see the Christmas spirit being displayed. It really expressed the monarch pride due to the blue and white color!

This photo is the US Army giving us a representation of what a tank look like and what it does at the JMU vs ODU football game. This was also parent day, which gives parents or students the opportunity for their families to participate in ODU pride events and show some love to the campus.

This is me and my besties at the library during finals week dying. Still ended up failing chemistry after studying for 60 hours a week. But just a tip if you know you understand the concept when you’re not in class but then don’t understand anything on the exam or in class then it’s not you it’s the teacher lol. Also booking a room is very tricky and you need to book it a day before and if you want to stay their more than 2 hours you have to get everyone to book that room for the remaining day.

The coffee shop In monarch way is one of the best coffee shops I’ve been too. The coffee is fresh, food is great, and customer service is top tier. The prices are affordable I paid $4.75 for a medium iced coffee and you get a 5% discount.
