Tommy Reamon Jr. is a Newport News native with a deep passion for education, athletics, and community development. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Old Dominion University before pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education at the University of Virginia.
A dedicated entrepreneur and community activist, Reamon has spent years mentoring young athletes and advocating for youth development through sports and education. He currently serves as the General Manager and Executive Assistant to the Head Coach at Norfolk State University, where he plays a key role in supporting the football program and fostering student-athlete success.
Beyond his work in higher education and athletics, Reamon is the founder of City on My Chest, a lifestyle brand that represents pride, resilience, and empowerment for communities, especially in the Hampton Roads area. Through this platform, he has created opportunities for young athletes by providing resources, mentorship, and exposure to pathways for success both on and off the field.
His commitment to youth development extends beyond sports. Reamon has been instrumental in organizing community outreach programs, leadership workshops, and athletic training camps that equip young people with the skills and confidence needed to excel. His advocacy focuses on using sports as a vehicle to inspire discipline, teamwork, and educational achievement.
