1. Identify one of your biases and describe how it was expressed in your research paper? (3 points)

• One bias I observed in my study paper was that I underlined the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital forensics while minimizing the challenges. My passion for AI’s potential inspired me to highlight notable case studies and technological improvements, such as improved detection of anomalies and faster data analysis. For example, I went over how AI algorithms can improve the efficiency and accuracy of investigations. However, I may have minimized or only briefly emphasized the key issues, such as privacy problems, the necessity for massive datasets, and the possibility of AI producing false positives. This bias may have led to an inaccurate measurement of AI’s overall influence in cloud environments.

2. In what way(s) is your research paper persuasive? Cite specific examples to support your claims. (4 points)

• My research article is persuasive because it uses solid evidence, an organized argument, and real-world parallels. By mentioning recent research, such as (Dunin et al., 2024), I showed concrete data illustrating the benefits of AI in digital forensics, such as faster and more accurate analysis. The paper’s flow, beginning with an overview of AI’s benefits and progressing to its challenges, ensured that the reader could follow and comprehend the intricacy of these variables. Furthermore, providing case studies demonstrating successful AI applications in cloud contexts made theoretical benefits more apparent and relevant. This balanced approach, which acknowledged both the advantages and restrictions of AI, increased the paper’s overall persuasiveness and credibility.

3. Explain what were for you the easiest and the hardest parts of doing the paper project. Please focus on the paper research and writing process (not matters like work and family obligations). (3 points)

• The easiest step was deciding on a research topic because I already knew a lot about the subject.

• The most difficult component might have been combining a large amount of material into an organized narrative. Sorting through multiple sources to find the most relevant facts and then incorporating them into a structured argument, for example, can be difficult and time-consuming.

4. In a paragraph, explain how you expect this research will help you to achieve your career goals. Is there anything you could have done differently or more effectively in your paper to help you in or to prepare you for your career; explain? (3 points)

• I believe that this research will be helpful to my professional ambitions in cybersecurity and digital forensics. Understanding the benefits and drawbacks of
AI in cloud environments will be critical as I want to work in areas that require
installing and monitoring AI-driven forensic tools. To better prepare, I could have used additional current-specific case studies and sought suggestions from professionals in this field to ensure that my analysis was useful and related to current industry concerns. This would have provided a more realistic perspective and increased the value of my paper.
