This was an event where another and I made hand-made smoothies for the post-9/11 marathon runners on base.
The USO held a Mario-themed tent at the Langley AFB 2023 Trunk or Treat, handing out toys and candy.
This is a post made with a collage of photos from the stated 2023 Trunk or Treat event.

Honor Society and School Association

Honor Society

Tau Sigma National Honor Society

Tau Sigma is a national academic honor society designed specifically to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students.

This honor is a result of high academic achievement while at ODU. Candidacy for membership in the ODU chapter of Tau Sigma is granted to those students who have transferred to ODU, having completed at least one year at a prior institution and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average at the point when they have completed the number of hours equal to one full term.

In addition to providing formal recognition for high academic achievement, Tau Sigma provides a common bond among transfer students through social activities and involvement in service to the university and charitable organizations. Every year, Tau Sigma awards scholarships totaling $100,000 and hosts an annual leadership conference in which members from chapters across the country are represented.

Awards and Recognitions

ODU’s Dean’s List Honoree

The Dean’s List is announced at the end of each term. Any undergraduate student taking 12 or more hours of degree credit for grade point credit who attains a grade point average of 3.40 or higher with no grade below C (2.00) is placed on the Dean’s list. The student must also receive a passing grade on any non-degree credit courses in which he or she is enrolled. Students who receive grades of I are not placed on the Dean’s List. An enhanced GPA using the Grade Forgiveness Policy or Adjusted Resident Credit (ARC) does not determine eligibility for the Dean’s List.

I have received the honor of making the Dean’s list each semester I have attended Old Dominion University. Below you can find a breakdown of each semester this honor has been achieved, along with a newsletter from the College of Cybersecurity for the Fall 2023 semester showcasing all individuals who accomplished the achievement for that semester.
