A. Write a justification for using an interdisciplinary approach. Based on STEP 2 of the Interdisciplinary Research Process (IRP), there are four possible ways to do this (Review: See Ch. 3, p. 93-100). Apply one or more of these approaches to justify using an interdisciplinary approach to the paper assignment based on your research question.   

EXAMPLE: To write a justification, you could start with a statement, such as: “My research question is complex because…”, or “Important disciplinary insights on my topic include X, Y, Z….”
