One reason is that a 12-year-old was able to manipulate a bear meant to connect family and turned malicious. Module 6 in classes briefly discussed trust with the web and this elaborates on how we trust free Wi-Fi or &#8220;cuddle bears&#8221; and that puts us at risk. This touched on the diverse cultures and inclusions discussed in class such as age and culture. Cyber security is online and does not care who is on the other side. The CBS story also touches on motives previously discussed such as fun and boredom from module 5.
