With internship clinic coming to a close, my team and I (Team Moss) have been able to successfully create a risk assessment report for our client (Dr. Gwendolyn Moss) and produce an appealing presentation to debrief our report. We are currently touching up our presentation to make sure it is polished and revised to ensure our presentation is prestige. During the time of the two teams working on the reports and presentations, we took a trip to visit 757 Startup Studios, which is a professional space that allows entrepreneurs to build a foundation for their business scale it up from there. It is also I wonderful place to build connections and meet like minded people to form potential collaborations and find potential future partners.
Touring 757 Startup Studios was fun, and I learned things from them as well when it comes to building that foundation and starting your business/company there. Their offices are aesthetically pleasing and decorated to ensure people feel comfortable and in the best mindset to be innovative and work. I enjoyed learning about the history of 757 Startup Studios and the past information about the building where they are based.
Overall, I have enjoyed participating in the activities this internship clinic had in store and the clients we are working with. I have gained more confidence to apply myself more and start more conversations with people from attending the AFCEA Luncheon and doing the community activity with Greg Tomchick when we went around the community talking to local businesses and offering free risk assessments. I have also gained foundational experience in doing real world risks assessment reports.
I am glad to have been a part of this pilot internship clinic experience and am grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with amazing people.
