Throughout weeks six through twelve I have noticed and been motivated by the growth in my writing skills. I am proud to say that I got an 88% on my midterm essay. During the summer, every freshman entering ODU in the fall had to take the Writing Placement Test before they could sign up for their classes, which I did not do to well on. I didn\u2019t know how to start my essay with a good flow, and I was also rushing since I waited till the last minute and did it the day before my preview date. Looking back, that was not a very smart idea at all. Now I have learned that I should plan my paper out days in advance and start brainstorming when I first get the assignment. I used these strategies for my mid-term, and I can definitely say it payed off. Now with these last few weeks of class rolling around I plan to learn as much information as I\u2019m taught and review over the important details that I think will benefit me with my writing. When it\u2019s time to start preparing for the final exam I will review over things I\u2019ve learned so far throughout this course to help me prepare.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
