As\nthis class comes to an end, I can confidently say that I have learned a lot\nthroughout this class. This class has\nhelped me improve my basic writing skills and also helped broaden my knowledge\nof writing. From doing the journal entries to writing our first paper, to the\nePortfolio and the editing skills checklists, these are all assignments that\nhave helped me grow in my writing. I am\nglad I was put into this class before taking English 110C because writing is\none of my weakest subjects and I feel like I definitely would\u2019ve struggled a\nlot more if I didn\u2019t take this class first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All\nthe assignments we had in this class, for example, the journal entries and the\nfour essays we had to write, really helped me practice my writing; getting\nfeedback from my peers, and most importantly my professor really helped me\nlearn what mistakes I was making throughout my writing. Although the editing\nskills checklist and ePortfolio didn\u2019t help me as much I\u2019m still appreciative\nthat I was able to learn how to create my own website. The editing skills checklist helped me\nreview what mistakes I was making in my writing by finding help on websites for\npractice, which was a good benefit as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing\nis a huge struggle for me. I was never really good at writing unless it\u2019s a fun\nand relatable topic or a short journal entry. \nComing into this class I thought I was going to struggle so hard and end\nup failing, but it turned out not to be as bad as I thought. Now with the end of the semester rolling\nthrough, looking back, I am very grateful I was required to take this class\nbecause I feel like if I wasn\u2019t enrolled in it before I took English 110C then\nI probably would\u2019ve ended up failing that English class and having to retake\nit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
