My name is Jazmine Bernardin. I was born and raised in Virginia, but I also have a Jamaican and Haitian background from my parents and extended family. I love many things about my culture, but my favorite thing is the food. I like to recreate family meals, listen to music, and being occupied by something interesting. I’m not the fondest of reading but I was always excellent at reading and comprehension.

My biggest goals that I was to accomplish while in college are to be able to understand and speak Spanish, get more involved in more organizations and groups on campus, and consistently apply myself and be motivated in my classes. Hopefully, I will complete those goals and then some.
