After completing this course, you should be able to (1) describe the fundamental concepts, technologies, components, and issues related to communications and data networks, (2) describe a basic network architecture given a specific need and set of hosts\/clients, and (3) be able to apply your knowledge of network technologies to design and construct a working network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills\/Values: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Skills: hands-on configuration, understanding and application of security tools (firewalls, encryption, etc.), data communication, security
