When I sat to think on this I realized that the reason he is good at his profession is that being an accountant requires a meticulous attention to detail. Accountants work with numbers daily and one misstep could potentially ruin their career, so being extremely meticulous when surveying a crime scene could enable him to see things that most people wouldn’t. Pair this with an aptitude for technology and you have someone that can not only survey a scene but also preserve the entire scene that way it can be re-assembled as if he was never there.
