Course Relevance

The major thing I have learned that has made a connection with my other coursework is understanding the intricate processes involved in DNA replication.  Seeing the steps broken down further than just the basics helped me understand the individual organelles and their purposes better.  This applies to anatomy and physiology in allowing me to further see how the human body, and to know not only the steps involved, but what nutrients the body needs to carry those processes out, and how they benefit larger portions of the body.  Learning so intensely of inorganic phosphate and its uses allowed to me better understand the make-up and uses of the membranes in a cell, and how that inorganic phosphate can be used to build bone.  Cell biology is very relevant to my studies, and I look forward to using the knowledge I’ve gained to aid me as I progress further in my degree.
