I scored a 1 out of 9, I use social media every now and then but it is not an addiction and I could definitely go without it. The scale includes items to evaluate many elements of social media use, such as exaggerating about how much time you spend on social media, being into conflicts about usage, and the fact that social media is so all-consuming that you can’t focus on anything else. They highlight actions that are frequently disregarded, such as ignoring obligations or becoming emotionally dependent on social media. Since these components are frequently brought up in conversations about digital well-being, the emphasis on them hits an emotional note. Different cultural, economic, and social reasons are probably reflected in the diversity of social media use trends across the globe. People may utilize social media in ways that differ from those in more individual cultures in nations with strong collective social standards.
